Basic Info BioWelcome to Manoir Chaumont, the country estate of Lucille-Régine and her aunt, Catherine-Marie, in 18th century France. Compiégne is the perfect place to indulge in a rococo otherworld inhabited by my asian ball-jointed dolls, Lucille-Regine (Dollmore Bella Auden) and her mysterious Vicomte La Tour (Soom Spinel).
This journal will contain photostories, projects and ball-jointed doll information, but mostly, it will contain letters and diary entries written by the inhabitants of my world. As we go, I'll add profiles on the info page for easy reference. If you are familiar with the manner in which Les Liaisons Dangereuses or Bram Stoker's Dracula is written, you will see a similar format here which I think you will enjoy. I hope you become as immersed in my world as I am. I never know what my resin clan will be doing next!

The Region of Picardie
A vast plateau region divided by the rivers Somme and Oise. Picardie is just north of Ile-de-France, home of Paris and Versailles. To the west, near Normandie, is the region Pas-de-Calais. In this region is the Comte d' Artois, birthplace and familial holding of Lucille-Régine. A map of the Comte is available by viewing the information on Comte Etienne.

Duchesse de Beaufleur, Catherine-Marie
Lady of the house
The Duchesse is the aunt of Lucille-Régine. She spends summers in Compiégne at her duchy and falls and winters in Versailles. She is my alter-ego.
Lucille-Régine
Lucille-Régine has come to live with the Duchesse to be brought out into society. Her early experiences at Versailles taught her the importance of discretion and her careful observances have taught her the secret to being free to do as she pleases without drawing the watchful eye of her guardian. With complete confidence, she has the freedom to pursue intrigues and to engage in a secret affair with Vicomte La Tour.
The Mysterious Vicomte La Tour
The Vicomte is the lover and confidante of Lucille-Régine. He is a forceful, self-assured, arrogant, charming, seductive libertine who is modeled not so shamelessly on the Vicomte de Valmont with a dash of the Earl of Rochester and De Sade thrown in for good measure. His dark sense of humor and immoral point of view delights in dichotomies where goodness and purity struggle against sin and temptation. He adores being the one to push a tormented 'soul' over the precipice into surrender. One of his favorites is sex versus religion.
A distinguishing mark of the Vicomte is a scar in a diagonal slice from his right shoulder down to his pectoral chest muscle. The injury was sustained dispatching a highway thief.
He is a dangerous rogue that you cannot help being drawn to even though he is dangerous and immoral.
Etienne
Father of my charge, Lucille-Régine
brother by marriage
Etienne is a Comte who was widowed when my adopted sister, Anne-Martine died in childbirth. He has raised and educated his two daughters to the point where a woman's instruction is essential. Thus, as their aunt I have become their guardian, refining the skills necessary to make an entrance at court and society. I also will oversee their courtships, sending my recommendations to Etienne as well as monthly progress reports.
Anne-Martine
Adopted sister
Anne-Martine was the sole child of a fine family long held in our esteem. When her parents were tragically stricken by illness, she was adopted as my parents' charge. I barely knew Anne-Martine as she died when I was a mere child. She is survived by her husband, Etienne, and her two daughters.
